Local stuff

Heres a few sightings from around the hotel over the last few days. A good walk along the Rio Dobra, on the edge of the nearby Ponga Mountains was prodctive, with this gorgeous little Viperine Snake and plentyof cracking specimens of the Toadflax Linaria triornithophora, plus loads of other interesting wildflowers including Fringed Pink (Dianthus superbus), Bee Orchids and Yellow Snapdragon.
Also recently a Silver-washed Fritillary on the wooded edge of the hotels wildlfower meadow, and on the same afternoon i also saw Spotted, Marsh and Provençal Fritillaries, not bad going!!
